Hopkins Cattle
Just a small father son operation, we have been raising commercial angus for the last 35 years, in the last 5 years we have been adding and switching the herd to a club calf operation. Trying to help bridge the gap between the commercial and show world. our hopes is to have 30-35 club calf cows in production in the next 5 years. we do not do a sale day we are a first come first serve operation. all calves are halter broke, started on grain and vaccinated before they are picked up.

The Oregon Junior Shorthorn Association (OJSA) is a dynamic youth organization dedicated to inspiring, educating, and empowering young individuals across the Pacific Northwest. Open to all youth—whether or not they own cattle—OJSA provides opportunities to engage in agriculture, leadership, and livestock promotion while fostering an inclusive environment where every member can grow, belong, and make a difference. The association’s mission is to promote the Shorthorn breed while providing meaningful experiences beyond the show ring, offering diverse opportunities for involvement, and encouraging connections among junior members, breeders, and mentors. Whether a junior wants to join a committee, participate in events, or simply learn more about the Shorthorn breed, OJSA provides a place for every young person to contribute, develop leadership skills, and make a lasting impact in the Shorthorn community.
